Ability Unlimited seeks dancers with both physical and mental disabilities as well as visual and hearing impairment to join our dance-theatre. We’re looking for people with a background in athletics or a strong aptitude for dance, theatre or other dance techniques. While professional dance experience is not required (extensive training is provided), a genuine interest in and commitment to this work is a must. Ability Unlimited offers the ideal opportunity for disabled individuals and athletes seeking a new direction! A commitment of a minimum of two years is a must.

Ability Unlimited explores both traditional and contemporary dance-theatre comprising dancers with all disabilities. Ability Unlimited has set an international standard of excellence for professional performances under the artistic direction of Guru Sallauddin Pasha. Our dynamic dance-theatre productions, the first of their kind in the world include traditional and contemporary productions.

Ability Unlimited also maintains an extensive dance education and outreach program for students of all ages with disabilities, Ability Unlimited dancers also have the opportunity to become Teaching Artists as education and outreach work comprises about 50% of Ability Unlimited’s work schedule. Individuals with teaching experience or interest in being Teaching Artists are highly encouraged to apply.

Ability Unlimited creates, performs and teaches practically year-round locally, nationally and abroad. Rehearsals are three to five times a week. All work is paid for and there are opportunities for the right individual to assume other duties including choreography, teaching, and administration.
